Why our chair pads feel different
Layered support, not just fluff
Our back cushions pair soft gel memory foam with a firmer supportive layer, so you get cushioning that contours and structure that holds its shape.
Covers you can actually clean
The velvet back cushion covers zip off and go in the machine. The round outdoor pads are water-resistant and easy to hand wash with mild detergent.
Stays where you put it
A non-slip base keeps the back cushion in place through long sitting sessions, while rear ties hold the round outdoor pads to the chair.

About Cushion & Quiet
Cushion & Quiet began with a simple observation: most of us spend a lot of the day sitting, and most of that sitting is not especially comfortable. Dining chairs are too firm. Sofa backs sag. Patio chairs turn hard the moment the sun comes out.
So we built a small shop around the seats people actually use. Our back cushions are oversized and curved, designed to cover more of your back and gently discourage slouching. Inside, a soft gel memory foam layer sits over a firmer supportive foam, giving you softness where you want it and structure where you need it.
The velvet covers are removable and machine washable, because a cushion you can't clean is a cushion you stop using. A non-slip base keeps everything in place, even through a long movie or an afternoon of reading by the window.
For outdoor seating, we carry round seat pads in a set of two. They're water-resistant, tie to the chair to reduce sliding, and fit most round bistro, patio, and dining chairs. A little padding goes a long way on a metal or wooden seat.
We keep the collection intentionally small. Four products, each chosen because it solves a real sitting problem, with clear details so you know what you're getting before it arrives.
That's the whole idea behind Cushion & Quiet: fewer, better cushions for the chairs you already love.
Frequently asked questions — Cushion & Quiet
Will the back cushion fit my sofa or recliner?
It's an oversized design, so measure your chair's back before ordering. Check the width and height of the area you want covered and compare it to the cushion's listed dimensions. If your chair back is narrow, the cushion may extend beyond the edges.
Can I wash the velvet cover?
Yes. The cover on the back cushion is removable and machine washable. Unzip it, wash according to the care instructions, and let it dry fully before putting it back on the foam.
Are the round outdoor cushions waterproof?
The cover is made of water-resistant material, which helps with light moisture and everyday outdoor use. We recommend bringing them in during heavy rain or long wet spells, and hand washing with mild detergent then air drying.
Do the round cushions stay on the chair?
Each round cushion has rear ties that attach to the chair frame or back, which helps reduce sliding and shifting while you sit. They fit most round bistro, patio, dining, and stool seats.
